It seems that a lot of products we buy these days come in a variety of colours. However, the PS3 is still only available in shiny black everywhere except Japan (although there have been rumors of the USA getting another colour choice). If you could choose a colour for the Sony PS4 what would it be?
For me…i’m going to be boring and say shiny black. I like the black look of the PS3, it suits it well, and it matches my Tv quite nicely. I thought i’d like the white PS3, but it really doesn’t do it for me! So, get commenting on what colour you’d like to see, and why.

I always liked the Silver one they showed a while back but the problem is they always bring them out toward the end of the lifespans of most systems and I’m just not willing to wait for the extra colors. IMO Multiple Colors should be released at the beginning of a consoles life and those early adopters should get the choice while supplies last. After maybe a year the console can lose 1 color or lose all the colors and just have one main color.
Got to be black. But maybe with some white or blue details to it. The most important change, would be a smaller shape of the console. And of course better performance and reability.
Although, I really hope ps3 getting a long run, like the ps2 is having.
I too would like the black the best. I know it seems boring but its really elegant and sleek. I’d want id super shiny and glossed, with some nice chrome bits like the 60GB ps3, and, maybe and anti-fingerprnint layer if such thing exists

i am going to have to say that black is the best thing that suits the ps3…but even though this wont happen a gold colour would be pretty sweet…not real gold cause that would be insane price but a colour that looks gold…..i think that this would be intense
I’d like mine… black… in any of it’s branded forms (jet black, gun-metal black, metallic black). That is the be-all end-all of all colors… and it also helps with matching to TVs. Hmm… but if I had a chance at getting something wicked… I’d go for a color-changing surface… like what was done with Dell XPS laptops.

Why could they not do multiple colour choices like cars have. Why not have all the colors listed in the poll, and maybe (this is gonna sound strange) but some really WOW colors like, bright lime GREEN, or luminous YELLOW! I think playstation needs to have a bit more fun with its products!!

I would like to see chrome console & controllers or clear case, so u can see the working of the machine inside.

Red mat or black mat,just because its scratchless and cool.White would olso be cool because white take less heat,and black would be the opposite because it would take faster heat.

Personally some sort of brushed aluminium would be great, for that rugged manly look that as far as i know has never been done before in a console!?!

If i was picking the colour iwould make it brushed stainless steel where you can choose the colour,matalic black,matalic red or matalic dark gun metal greay
plus i dont like the idea of purely downloadable content because how do you buy games if you have no credit card or don’t want to put you credit card details on the internet or how clould you return it if you didn’t like it.
in my opinion it is a very niche market and would turn alot of people off
i think that it would be cool if sony made the ps4 a sphere
i think the black looks great, my laptop and tv are both shiny black and they go together well. but i think royal blue or dark navy blue would look great too. i think white looks quit tackey. like the white psp. but the white ds lite looks nice though.
i think that if sony wants the ps4 to turely be the entertainment hub of the modern family the they need to add a blu-ray recorder that is the one thing missing from the ps3 and it would simply awesome if they added a blu-ray recorder to the ps4
i think there is no point in having different colours it does absolutely nothing for the performance graphics or quality of the games so i would only make the colour black like the ps2 and 3
plus i don’t think we need a ps4 yet maybe in a cople of years time but not now we are in a recession so you would make less money than if you put it up for sale now.
basically just keep it shiny black it suits more or less every t.v in the world
