Last week was a very interesting week here at PS4 Talk. As you should be aware, the Playstation 4 does not exist yet and it’s not 100% clear if it will actually exist although speculation and subtle hints from people at Sony kind of say it will do as well as common sense that says a “next-gen” console will exist (even if it isn’t named the PS4). Anyway, all this speculation of various features that it “in theory” the PS4 could use, got a fair few of you talking. Here is a review of the posts made last week here at PS4 talk listed by those with the highest number of comments.
Although not technically last week (it was a day or 2 before last week) we need to mention the most commented post of the last 8 days was…
Will the PS4 have an Optical Disk Drive? – Go ahead and join in the conversation. The general feeling is that it WILL have an optical drive. Go ahead and vote on it too in our Poll.
Next is the question of Super Hi-Vision which is basically the next step up from HDTV.
Will Sony Ready the PS4 for Super Hi-Vision? – Again, mixed feelings but the general consensus was no chance. I admit that I fully agree that the PS4 will do better should it concentrate on the 1080p HD market which in my opinion… it is ample for the size of screens that most gamers use.
Finally we have the next most commentated post which wasn’t about the Sony PS4, but instead was against a possible rival… the Wii 2.
Do Nintendo need to skip to the next-next gen with the Wii2?
Feel free to visit each post and add your thoughts on this speculation.
Also we’d like to thank our commentators this week. On a weekly basis we will be saying thanks to those that either contribute to the comments section a lot, or make in depth comments about content on this site. The top 3 commentators we have decided on this week (in no particular order) are…
The Kiss – Has been a commentator here for a while now. He has sound comments and excellent advice.
Agent-X – For getting a ton of comments sent this way! Thanks!
xlbLoOdlx – For providing an entertaining comment backing up the ideas that an Optical drive might be dropped.
Thanks guys! As of next Monday (22nd December) we will be posting a roundup/thanks post and listing the top 5 commentators… so get commenting to be included up the top of the list!
