It was a couple or so weeks ago when we first reported on Microsoft requesting Xbox fans to volunteer for it’s beta update preview test.
Where many gamers would more simply receive the information necessary via their own Xbox LIVE account, many others have also been sent a single disc containing both a free copy of Halo: Reach as well as the Xbox Preview itself.
A lucky individual who was chosen to receive one of these said discs took a picture of it and sent it over to Engadget.
Heed the warning...
Incase a few of you were perhaps thinking of getting yourselves a sneek preview of your mates Xbox update, be wary. If you were to insert the disc in a “non-preview console… doing so will disable access to Xbox LIVE”. What’s more is that anything short of buying a new console and a new Xbox LIVE account will have no effect as access will only be granted again once the update is officially rolled out to the rest of the Xbox community.
