A while back a job listing was tracked down which suggested that Sony are working on a “next gen” console. This rumour started because a job listing was spotted over at Sony which was asking for a software engineer who could develop backward compatibility for the Sony Playstation 3 and an unspecified next-gen console. Could it be the Sony Playstation 4? Or are Sony just trying to make us think too much 
It would be interesting to see if in 2012 the PS4 will play all ranges of games.
