We haven’t seen too many PS4 design concepts just yet apart from a few silly ideas and a few PS3 concept ideas with a scribbled out logo saying PS4. These images represent a rather cool looking PS4 games console and are the work of Tai Chiel.
The PS4 3D model was created to show that gamers already have an interest in what the future console will look like. Looking at this concept it is partly transparent and the transparent section also houses what appears to be an OLED style screen that shows the various menus, picture, saved games etc…
Although still unclear when the PS4 will be revealed we can expect to see a very nice looking games machine that will use a lot of advanced technology. If you know of any other concepts, post them in the comments below.

ummmmmmm they can put the cooling fan in the back part of were the game goes
plexiglass is the material of the playstation 4 it will enhance motion technology and be in digital 3d. although you may have to wear glasses for 3d we are developing lenses for more 3d realism it will be on the shelves for christmas 2010
I really like the white controller design.
THATS COOL but i 4c many broken glasses at first( im taking a hint from the number of broken controlers when they went wireless …stuped MADDEN) and i hope the glasses, controlers and head sets someday becomefully customizable
hi
how can i buy this ps4
in dubie
thanks
yea plexiglass would be the best bet and no 3d glasses would not work for the ps4. the concept is designed with a futuristic look and since it is the future i believe that an already installed 3d projector should b inserted to prevent the old skool 3d glasses lmao
this is so cool. i have never seen a concept design that looks this amazing.
WOW!! That’s really cool…but hoffully it would be really strong glass so it wouldn’t break
want 1!!!!!!!!!!!
lol come on this is a hoax there loads of concepts of ps4 out there you always find that there nothing like what there gonna be
A) In case you haven’t all noticed, this is a CONCEPT…..AKA an idea that sounded cool at the time and looks cool on paper, but isn’t exactly well thought out. This kind of technology is a LOOOOOONG way off….we’re talking at least 15 years, but probably more. First off where would the hard drive go? I understand that hard drives and flash memory are yielding larger quantities of memory in very small packages, which is GREAT for future gaming systems that rely on hard disk memory to save vital information. The PS4 will likely include a whole terabyte of memory(which is 1000 gigs in case anyone was wondering).
B) With the graphics engine that the PS3 is sporting taken into consideration, I would have to imagine that the PS4 will boast a much better one. That being said, there are many other things that work in unison with the graphics engine to produce such streamline pictures on the PS3. All these things working together made it difficult for PS3 users to stand their consoles up vertically without causing problems to the system or the game currently being played, hence the slim version(compact enough to fit in small spaces, but still able to sit horizontally)…stupid gravity.
And finally….
C) Light projection WITHIN the console AND the controller is probably the WORST idea in this whole concept. While I really enjoy being able to power up my XBOX with the lightest touch(which is how Sony did it with the FIRST PS3′s), I truly believe that having an interface on the console, the controller, AND the screen would not only become really confusing, but be extremely inconvenient(which is probably the OPPOSITE of what they’re going for).
So, like I said before, while this is a very cool concept, it is exactly that…a concept, and nothing more. I’m 99% sure this will NOT be your new PS4.
that looks like it will never be like that, i dont think the technology is available to make see-thru buttons if it did happen bring on Glass see-thru phones
i have to say this is horrible! i mean you can look at the past consoles and see they have just developed it but this looks truly awful! think about the hdmi cables and power cable you would be able to see it through the glass . . . not good . . . sony should stay with black plastic.
I don’t care what it looks like, as like most PS3 owners, mine will sit in a cabinet. So the OLED screen will be a total waste. In the end we all control it through a TV or projector anyway? For me the PS4 needs to be robust, have a great graphics card, a good range of games and be able to repel dust (a killer for any console). Blueray, of course is much appreciated
that ps4 concept looks amazing
if only
wow..cool but still confuse with touch screen concept..
