We haven’t seen too many PS4 design concepts just yet apart from a few silly ideas and a few PS3 concept ideas with a scribbled out logo saying PS4. These images represent a rather cool looking PS4 games console and are the work of Tai Chiel.
The PS4 3D model was created to show that gamers already have an interest in what the future console will look like. Looking at this concept it is partly transparent and the transparent section also houses what appears to be an OLED style screen that shows the various menus, picture, saved games etc…
Although still unclear when the PS4 will be revealed we can expect to see a very nice looking games machine that will use a lot of advanced technology. If you know of any other concepts, post them in the comments below.

Concepts never get made, the ”only” difference between Ps1 and 2 is rumble controller. And the ”only” difference between Ps2 and 3 is motion sensing controller.

Hobbs is right, it does look VERY cool, but it would be impossible, first of all, a ps4 would need some form of cooling and that wouldn’t have the space for it.

This is the type of thing that i think is lacking in sonys product design atm; ACTUAL CREATIVE IDEAS.
Not just “oh, this’ll do won’t it?”
And most of it could be done aswel(Hobbs) – thats the thing i really love about it. You could have like the HUD in that round display or if you have a camera you cud have your mates mugs show up or messages n stuff. Good stuff Tai Chiel, just poke sony with a stick until they give you a job

I am allmost 100% sure that a ps3,4, 5,6,7,8 or how many other ps es are gonna come out they will most likely never…ever……ever look like that! why i am so sure of this becouse….. it is a concept……concepts cant tell if it is possible to do that or not. They just concontrate on the look!!

The PS4 is most likely going to need to use the same amount of space the PS3 Slim is currently using. So something like this design wouldn’t be able to house a cooling device, the Blue Ray Disc Player and space for more ram. Considering the PS3 Slims in Japan are now being released as 250 GB, we can expect the PS4 to have at least 400 – 500 GB. Sure the concept design looks nice, but that’s usually not how these things work.
SO…. it’s either this and the xbox 720?? and the winner is …..ps4!!!!

Blob i think the console needs the clear material, it needs to match the controller.
i also think this is a great pivot in design as the PS1, PS2 and PS3 all have relatively the same design and i think they should follow one of these concept designs. BUT, please make sure there is a powerful cooling system and and hopefully an improvement in game graphics, all this would put Playstation way ahead of the game, imagine the phat price tag that will be slapped on one of these babes!

Why is going to make a very interesting game console and the model deverdad seve pretty well exaggerated. and that every deverdad fans and customers of the PlayStation will love this model.
