You’d probably think that Halo couldn’t be taken any further and you would probably be right. But a logo for Halo 5 was spotted during a Channel 4 press visit to Microsoft HQ in Redmond, Seattle.
That said, where’s Halo for in all this. At the moment, many of those in the industry are coming to the conclusion that this just an in-joke (which we don’t find very funny but we guess that’s what you’d expect unless you were ‘in’ on it).
What interesting to note though, is that it won’t be Bungie behind the title, if it in fact does ever come to fruition but rather 343 Industries (Timeshift developers) have now taken over the reigns as it were.
Could Halo 5 perhaps become a launch title for the Microsoft’s next console? Where could the story go from Halo 3?? Are you even bothered by the prospects of another Halo game??? Whatever happens, it needs to be big and pretty spectacular. For now though, there’s pleeenty of room for speculation but it may all be futile if this is Big ‘M’ just having a laugh.
