The technology, although advancing quite rapidly, it is quite expensive, and that would make a console like the PS4 probably too expensive as well. If I were to judge best, we might be able to see Terabyte level HHDs which will become much cheaper by the time, and, alternatively, 512 GB SSDs on it... at least judging by common release dates for Sony's consoles. Now, thinking in geek... it would be really awesome to have Terabyte level SSDs right on the PS4 if it comes out, I wouldn't have to worry (much) about video game installs, even more awesome if they decided to play on RAID data management to reduce load times to it's best possible minimum.
