In the last post here at PS4Talk we mentioned the possibility of 3D TV coming to the Playstation 4… well it now seems that Sony are completely ahead in that they might be releasing a firmware update that will bring 3D images to the Sony PS3. Sony will be supporting the Blitz Tech 3D Engine as of next year which will make it possible for the console to create stereoscopic 3D visuals and hopefully the same too for Blu-ray content. Of course you will need a compatible screen to utilise these services.

I would love 3D gaming to come to the PS3, as long as I don;t have to wear those silly red and green glasses
.
It all does sound impressive though, apart from the need to buy a 3D ready TV, I wonder how mch one of those will cost?!?!
I was going to make a post on the previous thread saying how I doubted that happening… but I guess it’s a never mind now.
In any case, it is quite interesting that Sony is adopting the technology in its early stages… maybe they are seeing something that others might not… or simply feel like having their PS3 be the be-all end-all in future tech. Anyways, I hope tey make an interesting game out of it, maybe an RTS or an FPS… dunno if it’d look good for RPG’s though.
Yeah… I have nothing productive to say in this case… this is the curve ball I didn’t see coming. lol
would hd t.v s be compatible with the 3d i dont mind wearing 3d glasses cause this is next genaration so i think you should bring it out for the ps3 and ps4 and knock the xbox360 away so plz contact me
